Paul Davidson, Executive Director
Paul Davidson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Southeastern Louisiana and did post graduate work at Louisiana State University (LSU). He worked as a Research Associate at LSU before entering into private business for several years. During that period he was very active in conservation advocacy roles, serving in leadership positions in several conservation organizations including the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana. He also served on several commissions and task forces under three Louisiana governors, and state and federal agencies. He has been the Executive Director of the BBCC since January of 1992.

David Telesco, Private Lands Biologist
Dave Telesco graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Wildlife Resources from Virginia Tech University. After graduation, Dave worked for 4 years as a wildlife technician on a variety of management and research projects in Manitoba, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, and Virginia. He began his graduate research in 2000, where he studied black bear habitat use and population ecology at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base in North Carolina. Dave graduated with a Master of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science at The University of Tennessee in 2003. He has been the Private Lands Biologist for the Black Bear Conservation Committee since August of 2003.
